I have been off my feet due to some minor surgery, so I have been working on some details of the boot soles on the ITMG. Above is my version of the sole.

Above is a photo I took at NASM of an actual A7L boot that was displayed for us in Amanda's office.

Here are some photos of my latest Gas connectors. This one is rough and in need of polishing, But I think you can see what I am after here. The small screws and the "O" ring are new additions.

Hope your surgery wasn’t too serious and that you are recovering well. Boot sole(s) look good! And the connectors look authentic, too. I have been studying pictures of the real connectors and, for the life of me, I can’t figure out how they work. Does the lock mechanism somehow compress the O-ring? Not having seen a close up view of the hose nozzles, I can’t guess as to how an airtight seal could be made based on the surface information.

Same for the neck and helmet ring lock mechanism, and the wrist connects. I suppose that’s why I’m not an engineer!

    Anyway, get well soon!
